Swingfit

Swing Fit is a great way for women to get in to the game of golf, it is relaxed, fun, social, lighthearted and educational, all rolled in to one great program run by our PGA Club Professional James Single.

We run a Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced level classes all in aid of providing a pathway to membership and to grow the game amongst women in the community.

The Beginner and Intermediate course runs for 6 consecutive weeks, each class goes for an hour and is followed by a “compulsory” drink in the Golf Club so that everyone can get to know each other a bit better. Players should allocate around an hour and a half each week.

Multiple classes are held each week so that if you miss your day due to unforeseen circumstances or you know that you have plans that weekend, you are able to come along on a different day to catch up.

These classes are usually run on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at different times throughout the year as we try to cater for all the women regardless if you are still working or not.

Golf Lessons

With 3 PGA Professionals working in the Port Macquarie Pro Shop, golf lessons are available 7 days a week, by appointment only.

Majority of lessons use the swing analysis program V1. With V1, the PGA Professional can send you your swing via email along with notes or tips for you to work on. So in your own time or home you can work on your game and you forever have the notes to help you improve. The latest bit of technology to arrive in the Port Macquarie Pro Shop is a new FlightScope Xi Tour. FlightScope is not only a great device used when selling and fitting golf clubs but it can be used for identifying problems within the golf swing or poorly suited golf clubs. So come on in for a FlightScope lesson and see how much we can improve your game.

Lesson prices are $70 for a half hour lesson, a popular option is a 3 pack of lessons for $180.
